My Problem

My original 3-year old battery was not lasting long and cutting out at ~20%.

My Fix

I had to use a heat gun to assist in the removal of the battery. The adhesive strips were too set to come out smoothly. Other than that, everything was extremely simple.

Iphone 6 would show 100% battery then suddenly shut down.

Repair was pretty straight forward. Did have a problem with the adhesive on the original battery breaking so I had to use the card and heat method to remove the old battery.

The trick is to take your time and do each step very carefully. I did not remove the LCD screen, I attached it to the box the iPhone came in with a rubber band and very, very care . . .

We deploy a lot of iPhones and 90% of the time, the only thing I get complaints about is battery life. So replacing batteries in house, instead of purchasing new devices at 4x the cost of the battery, was a logical decision.
