My Problem

The trackpad wouldn't click because the battery had gone bad and expanded, pushing up hard against the underside of the trackpad.

My Fix

Removing the back of the Mac and it flew off, due to the pressure caused by the expanded battery. Replacement was easy.

My Advice

I would never have thought that the trackpad not wor . . .

Super easy...new battery, SSD w/double the storage and doubled the mem to 8GB

My Advice

Make sure u have the right tools..Mac has all.these wierd screw heads...torx, tri lobes, etc...just to frustrate you

My computer was telling me to replace my battery, so I did.

My Fix

It was easy to remove and replace the battery.

My Advice

You need a special screwdriver head. Make sure you have that particular head.

My Problem

The aging battery on my MacBook was no longer charging and/or not lasting as long as it used to. Also, the trackpad was hard to push, as if something underneath was blocking it. All tell tale signs the battery needed replacing.

MacBook Pro battery swelling causing trackpad to not click very well.

My Fix

Easy just take out the back cover and pull the battery out and swap it. Voila! So far so good.

Be careful its an electronic. Very sensitive stuff
