A few days back my MBA 2015stopped working. What could be the problem?

A few days back it simply stopped working. I put it on sleep and it never got on. Although, it could run the external mechanical hard drive up until 2 days after this. Following this, it stopped working. Tried SMC, NVRAM reset and everything. The fan won’t turn on too. There’s no chime. The Magsafe led would turn green when plugged into my Macbook. Any help would be appreciated. I do not remember spilling a drink on it, although I live in a pretty humid area.

Update:

When I do SMC, the light on my charger pin changes from orange to green but still the mac won’t turn on.

Update 2:

I have attached the battery’s screenshot. The LCI on the logic board is not triggered.

Disconnect the mag-safe adapter. Disconnect the battery from the logic board. Press and hold the power on button for 10 seconds. hook the battery and mag-safe back up. You should get a spontaneous reboot.

Nothing happened. During SMC, the light is changing.

I have a MBA 2017 model, should I try its battery in the faulty one to check if the battery is at fault?

It's compatible, give it a try. But, I'd do it the other way around so you can test the battery in the new machine.

Thanks @mayer, I did the same. I have updated the battery's screenshot in my question. It still won't power up. No activity on the fan. I don't know what the problem is.
