How do I change the battery

I just purchased a new battery and I don't know how to put it in. How do I put it in?

I have a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Do you have the Aluminum unibody MacBook?

If you do, follow this guide to replace the battery.

There's also a Unibody white plastic Macbook in 2.4GHz. That battery has an entirely different installation process. remember, we can't see your laptop; if you don't identify it correctly, our advice isn't going to help. The model number is on the back of the computer; it's also visible when you get the "About This Mac" window and click on the "More Info..." button. Help us help you.
