The tip of the power cord broke inside the power source.
The tip of the power card broke inside the book, I can not get it out, is there a way to do so

It's hard
some have had luck removing the bottom case and working it out of the socket from underneath using pins, needles or small thin electrical tweezers.

After you open your machine, remove the DC-IN port. The middle bar on the back of the unit can be pulled out slightly. After doing so, most of the time the tip can be dislodged and removed. If you give us exactly which Book you have we can lead you to the specific instructions on how to open your Book.

The same thing happened to me.
What I did was, I put a small drop of super glue (gel type) on the broken part of the pin connected to the cord and after 10s I inserted it again in the powerbook. I Let it stay plug for some minutes and then pull it out.
The tip came out halfway and then it was easy to pull it out with a plier
(in my case the outside metal barrel was so damaged that I had it sawed off)
Don't use to much glue and limit the glue just to the inside diameter of the tip or you can end up with a non working full time connected power cord... :-)
