Mitchell That's because this is a teardown, not a guide. There are 21 replacement guides here.
A reassembly trick that works for me is to use some 3/4" blue painters tape to stick to the very back (lower end) of the ribbon cable so I can pull it up and back before locking the cam. Trying to get a good grip without cutting, or crimping the ribbon means no tweezers or pliers can be used.

This ' is not the DIY help forum Go here and start a question. You probably have corrosion damage to the logic board. Getting electronics wet and doing nothing but drying them out will eventually lead to failure

This is not the DIY help Question and Answer Forum. Go here start your own Question. From your description it's either the GPU (Video Chip) or your display going bad. Connect to an external monitor and if you see the same thing after the same amount of time it is the GPU. If not it is most likely the on-board display.
