Causes
The G20 relies on sensors to detect and navigate around obstacles. If they are dirty or blocked, the vacuum may not properly avoid things.
- Over time debris gets stuck into the vacuum causing the sensor to get stuck and not notice that it is bumping into a wall or furniture.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the sensors located around the vacuum. Ensure there is nothing blocking the sensors.
- After repetitive bumping, it could cause the sensors to go dull not picking up bumps into the wall and or furniture.
If the vacuum’s wheels are worn or blocked, it might struggle to move around, causing it to get stuck frequently.
- A reason the wheels can malfunction is because the G20 is not put together very well, meaning screws or pieces are not screwed or put on tight. The wheels will wobble and sometimes even just stop. Replacing the cheaper wheels with some higher quality ones would be our way of resolving the issue.
- Another solution is to try to make sure all the wheels are attached properly and that nothing is obstructing their efficiency. Check for debris, hair, string, or anything of that sort wrapped around the wheels, and clean them thoroughly.
