Home appliances are electrical/mech
White goods/major appliances comprise major household appliances and may include: air conditioner, dishwasher, clothes dryer, drying cabinet, freezer, refrigerator, kitchen stove, water heater, washing machine, trash compactor, microwave ovens and induction cookers. White goods were typically painted or enameled white, and many of them still are.
Microwave Oven and Fridge Maintenance ¶
Using enamel paint extends the life of the appliances by preventing build-up of rust.
Microwave ovens and fridges are particularly susceptible to attack from rust. In microwave ovens the rust can cause electrical arcs and even fires. In fridges it can cause food contamination. In both cases it is unsightly.
The simple way to prevent the spread of rust is to apply rust eater and then enamel paint. Enamel paint is tough and it will prevent electrical arcing in microwave ovens and extend the life of your appliance.
