No Sound

The sound may not play if it is turned down on the headphones or the paired device.

• On the right ear, press the + button once to turn up the volume on your headphones.
• Check your paired device's volume settings to ensure volume is not muted or turned down to an inaudible level.

The sound may not play if your headphones are not connected to the paired device.

• Open your device's settings, then navigate to Bluetooth settings. Ensure your Anker Soundcore Life Q20 headphones are listed as connected. If not, click the listing to manually connect them.

The sound might not play if there is an issue with your paired device's Bluetooth connection.

• On the paired device, toggle Bluetooth on and off. If the audio still does not work, select your headphones' device listing and click "forget." Then reconnect them to the paired device.
• Restart your paired device and try Bluetooth connection as normal.

The sound may not play if a software update is available for your Anker Soundcore Life Q20 headphones.

• Open the Soundcore App on your cell phone or tablet. Ensure your headphones are connected to the device with the Soundcore App and plugged in to charge.
• The app automatically checks for updates. If there is one available, follow the onscreen prompts and wait for the update to finish installing.

The sound may not play if your Anker Soundcore Life Q20's Bluetooth connection is not working.

• Your headphones should automatically connect to Bluetooth when turned on. You should see a blue light shine for three seconds beside the power button on the left ear.

If the blue light does not come on, your headphones' Bluetooth is not working.

The sound may not play if the paired device's sound is not functioning properly.

• Restart your paired device and test the audio with and without the headphones.
• Pair your headphones to a different device and test the audio. If the sound works on another device, the original paired device is the problem.
