cracked screen repair

My Problem

my screen was extremely cracked

My Fix

The repair was somewhat challenging because of the extent of the cracked damage. It was very difficult to remove the screen and the suction cup didn't work. so I had to pry the case open and in the process it started to break apart. This caused it to become very challenging when trying to remove the screws on the home button area which is the part that took the longest. After that however the replacement went very easily as far as the attaching all the parts to the LCD screen and closing the phone back up.

My Advice

Not sure I would self repair again with such a damaged LCD screen.
