My Problem
Last week, I shattered the screen on my iPhone 5 when it fell out of my pocket while moving my lemon tree indoors due to freezing weather. It was so bad that pieces of glass were falling out and I could barely see my apps and texts.
My Fix
After receiving my repair kit, I put on my glasses, got under the best light in my kitchen and began taking apart my iPhone. The hardest part was prying up the screen then the rest came apart fairly easy. It was a little hard to get that last plug to go in but, after several attempts, it finally seated and then everything else went back together nicely. Took about 20 minutes total.
My Advice
This is the easiest way to replace the screen! I bought the complete assembly that included the home button, camera, etc! Best decision! Oh, and I finally bought a new case to replace the old one I had taken off! Probably wouldn't have had a shattered screen had it still been on it!
