My Problem

I burned out my IPhone 6S battery from months of heavy use charging and discharging my battery playing PokemonGo. The battery just didn't hold much of a charge anymore.

Everything went according to your directions. My adhesive strips broke and I had to use a hair dryer to get the battery out. Not a big problem. I would have been done in about 45 minutes if I didn't drop a microscopic . . .

So my 6S is actually one of those that could have received a free replacement from Apple had i just taken it to the store. My issue with this though is that the current iOS is not jailbreakable and it was more worth it to me to use a crap battery on a jailbroken iDevice that stock iOS, straight up . . .

My Problem

My wife's phone had a defective battery. Her phone would shut off anytime the battery life fell below 30 percent, sometimes higher.

My Problem

iPhone 6s has a defective battery which caused it to crash at 30-60% battery life. Usually at the most inopportune moments.

My Fix

That front screen is tough to remove, It's tough! I eventually figured out that I can wedge an Exacto blade into the lower left corner to pry open enough space to jam the spludg . . .

My Fix

Straightforward. Realizing that there was adhesive holding the screen to the body I took my time with at and maintained constant force until I could get the spudger to separate the screen.

My Advice

Take your time, it's easier to gradually separate the adhesive and that allows you to preserve . . .
