Battery was not holding charge and on multiple occasions the reading on the battery percentage was false (Phone says it's at 49% when actually under 10% or vice versa). Lightning connector was damaged so that any charging cord used would have to be situated in such a position and cannot be moved as . . .

Phone had to be positioned just right for it to charge. Lightning cable would often come out.

The step-by-step guide on here worked perfect. The adhesive on the charging port assembly took a little more prying than expected but since you’re essentially replacing the whole thing it’s hard to dama . . .

Bad power connection, difficulty charging phone.

My Fix

Flawless, iFixit as usual has amazing step by step guides and their parts are reliable 100% of the time in my experience.

The only thing that slowed me down was connecting the antena wire back but only took a bit of extra finesse. Otherwise not a hitch . . .
