My Problem

A broken piece of an headphone plug was stuck in the iPhone headphone jack, so that I could not hear without using speakerphone.

Apple Store was unable to get the piece out.

GripStick Headphone Plug Extraction Tool ($24.95) was not successful in removing it.

I ordered iPhone 6s Lightning Connect . . .

My Problem

My friend had ruined his screen but didn't have his contacts backed up to the cloud. Over 800 contacts compiled over several years would have been lost had we not been able to get a new screen to get the phone up and running. Installed a new screen and uploaded all of his contacts!

My Problem

Friend of mine dropped his phone and shattered the front screen, which made it rather difficult to use.

My Fix

Repair went well overall. The only difficult part I encountered was actually with the replacement part. The front facing camera cable ribbon on the replacement part was a little off and would not . . .

My Fix

My Advice

My Problem

Digitizer on iPad 3 was not working—no touch sensitivity at all.

My Fix

Bought new digitizer. Opened case with iOpener and guitar picks. Opened latches on ZIF connectors to release ribbon cables of digitizer and LCD screen. When replacing new digitizer ribbon cable, which comes in two parts, one part woul . . .

My Fix

Repair was fine, but initial setup was VERY frustrating, see below.

My Advice

Your video says microwave the iopener for 1min, but you have a banner that says newer versions should only be "cooked" for 30sec. The location of that video tag is perfectly hidden by YouTube ads!!!!!!!

Nothing is mess . . .

My Problem

Phone wasn't holding charge very well and battery would usually die or go to 3% when working out in the cold (I live in Maine).

My Fix

The repair was easy I think. I watched a video on it before I tore it apart, which I highly recommend. With all the tools that were provided I was able to get the battery ou . . .
