MacBook Pro Battery not charging

My MacBook Pro Late 2011 got water at bottom. Removed the battery and got it dry for one day. I powered the computer on and had it working fine for one hour then suddenly the display went off while I was still working. Made a hard shut down by pressing the Power button. Powered on again: no chime, no display, spinning HD, caps lock key light key on/off when press, volume keys sound when press it. Some forums indicate that the display backlight was damaged (pointed a flash light to display could see the desktop). The battery went dead. Now when I'm trying to charge it the MagSafe doesn't lite, pressed the battery indicator light it blinks for some time. I asked a friend charger, not charging also. I cleaned out the MagSafe connectors with alcohol. Please help.

Since this is a practically new machine I'd contact Apple and ask for a Depot repair... would be under $500.00 (with shipping and all). For the future 24hrs, assisted by no drying agent, is not long enough to dry out potential liquid damage.

Apple will not do a flat rate depot repair on water damaged machines.
