Replacement of Different emc board
I have MACBOOK AIR A1466 EMC 2925 whose logic board is damaged ( ic burnt ).
Will Logic Board EMC 3178 work on it, if I replace it? Please check the image

The best way to check if a logic board is compatible is to locate the boards number 820-00165-A. Here we can see both the original and the replacement boards are the same, so it’s a direct drop in.

I do see iFixit has the same board available at a similar price MacBook Air 13" (2017) 1.8 GHz Logic Board do consider the warranty.
