The eMac was an all-in-one G4-based Mac designed for the education market and released in April 2002. It was the last Mac to use a CRT display and was sold at a low price to schools and other institutions.

eMac teardown

could anyone try a teardown of just the computer component of the Emac for us, leaving the CRT alone?

that would be appreciated im shure

I am NOT a Mac person, but was lucky to have repaired one with the help of these manuals, may be this is what you are looking for. Link 1 is a eMac and link 2 is a 2005 ati_usb2. Let me know if this will help with your task, or if I should delete this link. Good Luck.

mine is the first one,

already cracked into it and working on fixing.

i would post a teardown, but it is second hand and has had some strange work done, (screws missing everyware, no hdd/ram disk drive)

i managed to put it back together again now though
