Using another charger causes ghost touch

I have a UGREEN ED013, MYPRO QC420, and Capdase ADFC-503WD adapter for charging my iPhone 7 Plus. The MYPRO charger causes my phone to have ghost touch, but using the UGREEN and Capdase chargers won't cause the phone to have ghost touch. I tried to use all of the adapters on an iPhone 7 and an iPad Mini 2 and none of them had ghost touch.

  • Why is there ghost touch?
  • Any suggestions / solutions for fixing the touch issue, aside from using another adapter/charger?

Update: My iPhone 7 Plus also started to have ghost touch when plugged into a PC. Tried to charge on another charger (Original Apple 15W Charger & UGREEN 30W USB PD) and it does not have any ghost touch. It only happens when the phone is plugged to a PC or using the MYPRO charger.

Ghost touch arises from ripples in the DC current the charger is supplying.

Just use another charger, or try parallel a capacitor between the USB power/ground cables if you think it is practical.
