Hi Gary,

The keyboard on your MacBook is part of the top case and cannot be replaced. You have to replace the whole top case. You can contact the guys here at iFixit for a replacement part or search for one on ebay.

I guess my question is why?'' If you've had a liquid spill and only replace the keyboard''' without cleaning drying the inside of the box you'll have problems further along.

Good Luck,

N.

You would have to replace the whole top case. Remove the 3 screws from the bottom of the MacBook, then the 2 small ones beside the optical drive, 4 screws on the back of MacBook. Then remove the battery and remove the 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 9th screw from the inside of the battery bay. remove the 2 outermost screws from the battery connector, NOT THE INNERMOST screws. Then remove the "L" bracket by loosening the 3 small screws, these dont come all the way out, then behind the "L" bracket there are 3 tiny screws. After that u should be good to go. They dont have a guide here specifically for the top case but one of the guides for other repairs should include removal of the topcase.
