How come there is an X where the battery is?

I replaced my battery in my MacBook Air 2015. It turned on and there is now an x in the battery icon on my laptop. It also says with my WiFi no hardware connected. How do I fix this? Thanks

Lets get a better idea on whats happening with the battery. Install this gem of an App! CoconutBattery with your MAgSafe charger plugged in take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see Adding images to an existing question

Your WiFi issue is a bit more involved as we just not know if the AirPort board has failed or if the antenna has become disconnected or something worse!

Lets open up the system and inspect the logic board and the Airport board. Review this guide MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 AirPort/Bluetooth Card Replacement Do you see any corrosion or other damage? If you do post some pics so we can see whats needed.
