I doubt you'll find a schematic. How about giving us your symptoms and maybe we can help.

Hi Vitali,

sorry you're having the issue. If you look on the bottom of the computer, what is the model #? Should start with an A..I can look at the schematic for the board's, but there are many core voltages so I would need to know which one you are wondering about?

Generally with a liquid spill on this model, liquid corrodes where your battery board connects to the logic board. The battery board has a 2nd level board on it which is the sleep switch. The magnet in the display close onto it which is how the machine knows its sleeping. Sounds like the unit thinks it supposed to hardware sleep, and it happens when the OS portion of the booting happens. Also, if the machine believes its sleeping all kb, screen and fan actions will cease.

Does the issue also happen if you perform a software sleep? I attached a link to the part in question. Keep in mind that the part # may be different depending on the specific version of your MLB

Josh,

do you know the way to restore the functionality of the battery connector socket area on the logic board once there's corrosion in it. Cleaning the twenty small holes where the connector sits doesn't always solve the logic board weird behavior such as continual loop of sleeping/awakening issue.

well replacing the battery connector board would be step one. Usually when the corrosion is really bad, we end up changing the actual connector on the board. If you can get your hands on some corrosion cleaner, I would rec. removing the board and spraying down and see if you can remove the corrosion. A lot of times that part has to be replaced because the corrosion eats the pins or etch's on the board. The biggest thing to know however is that until the corrosion is gone, it will continue to rot. If it rots long enough, it will break the etch internally in the board between the different layers and board will be done

Hope this helps
