MacBook air 2015 maybe SSD is bad?

i have tried target mode and cloned my 2013 macbook pro hd to my 2015 air a1466 and when i try to boot the macnook air it gets stuck on the logo.. and same of i try internet recovery or boot from usb with osx on it?? is it the 128gb ssd hard drive thats bad or can it be something else?? bios?

Chosen Solution

Cloning was great in its day but no longer. You do not get the repair portion. Much, much better to install the system and then use Migration Assistant to move Apps and user data.

how can i inatall it? i cant get into recovery or internet recovery. Just gets stuck on the apple progress bar. I also tried booting from usb with Yosemite and same thing? i also did a device check and it said nothing is wrong with this pc?

i have a couple of macs and a thunderbolt cable i tried to reformat drive and clone a drive to it, i tried copying contents of the osx flash drive to the ssd and still same issue.. im starting to think the ssd is bad?? or is there a bios ? becuase i can hear the guy talking in the background when going to recovery or usb install but screen juat shows progress bar ?

Will it fully boot from your USB drive? What system is on it? When you attempt an internet recovery, where does it stop?
