Why does my iPhone shut down (as in run out of battery) after 5 minute

Lately I have been getting a multitude of problems which includes:

Unresponsive screens

IPhone Dying after 5 minutes of being idle (much less battery life if in use - Has to be connected to a source of Power to function on a basic level)

Randomly types unwanted letters at random times

Heats up extremely easily

etc…

I would like some help for at least one, if not all, of this is possible.

Thank’s for your time

Your battery is most likely at the end of its life. To be certain, use a battery utility, such as coconutBattery (for Mac) or 3uTools (for Windows). Anything less than 70% of design capacity will require replacement.

Based on your description, you may also have a screen issue. However, I would start by replacing the battery first and see if that solves the shutdown issue. Then if that is solved but you still have Touch issues, then you’ll want to consider changing the screen.
