How do I transfer my gmail from my Desktop to my Laptop?

Hook them up via a firewire cable. Start the desktop up holding down the "T" key. Start the Book up the normal way. You can now use your mail's import function to move the data. (note you may have to move the data into a folder on the hard drive. You can also just drag and drop the folder from one hard drive to the other and then try importing it.

If you're gmail account is operated via Mail then do as mayer tells but if you're using the account via a browser then all your data is on the gmail server so just log to your account with your laptop via the browser.
