Washed iPhone 7 in washing machine
I was washing my bedding an my phone ion in with it. I turned off phone and now after 18 hours I still have a blue mark and some little dots. I was wondering is there anyway to fix it
Is this a good question?

Hi,
As you know water and electronics and electricity are not a good mix.
The impurities in the water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the phone's operating design and could damage the components.
First do not turn on your phone and then you need to with the phone turned off, remove the battery as soon as possible from the phone to minimize further damage.''
Then you need to dis-assemble the rest of the phone and clean all the affected parts using Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ (available from most pharmacies) to remove all traces of corrosion and water. Do not use "rubbing alcohol" as in some cases this is <70% IPA, can contain scents and is not as effective. If you do check the label to verify the amount
Here is a link that describes the process.
As always with electronics, especially surface mounted PCBs be gentle when handling and especially when brushing away the corrosion. You do not want to remove any components from the board.
Hopefully after you have done all this the phone might possibly work correctly again.
Here is a link to the ifixit iPhone 7 guides, which may be of some help.
If this process seems too daunting, take your phone to a reputable, professional phone repair service, experienced in water damage repair and ask for a quote for a repair.
If you decide to do this, do it sooner than later.

You need to clean the back side of the LCD, replace backlight sheets, and of course water is already all over inside your phone, clean it when you open it up.
This is not a DIY level repair, it is very easy to rip the backlight /3D Touch layers.

Hi @Daisy Law,
Putting it in rice won’t do anything to fix it.
Rice is for dinner, not repair
See the Chosen Solution above about what to do to hopefully get it working again

I just did the same thing with my phone the same way. Washing my bedding with my I phone in it. It is in a bag of rice and I am using those silicone packs you find in your shoes, etc. I opened 5 of them. I am so mad at myself....
