Phone is not taking a charge
I've tried everything to charge my phone. The phone company I have won't take it for repair because I no longer have insurance on it. Should I send it somewhere else or can I fix it myself?
Is this a good question?

Here's the guide to replace your daughterboard+USB port:
Samsung Galaxy S6 Daughterboard Replacement
First try connecting it to your PC. If you can transfer data, then the port doesn't need replacement because of wear. Another test is if a Qi doesn't charge it either, then the charge circuit on the motherboard has failed, in which case you will have to replace the motherboard.
If you think it's the USB port (which is most likely), you can use a Qi charger for the rest of the life of the device, or use the guide to replace it. Parts are linked within the guides.
Hope this helps!
