ifixit offers MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Front Display Glass for all models except Mid 2010.
How is that model's glass different?
Even more, in there's aInstalling MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2010 Front Display Glass guide that lists the same part among relevant parts.

I received the answer from ifixit customer service.
With the glass not being able to be put in the 2010, that is due to the fact that the brackets are different. The link in our page is done in error.

It means that actually we do not have any solution for Macbook 15's glass replacement?
Does anyone workaround with this?

In the end I purchased a glass from Techrestore
It fitted nicely and looks good.
