Why does my mouse not move smoothly?
While moving the mouse around my desk it tends to stick or get stuck in some places.

Might be the place were you put your mouse is not good for moving the mouse properly so try to use your mouse with the mousepad or might be your mouse speed is slow from the mouse setting so just go ahead and speedup all the mouse setting.
