huge amount of dust behind screen

a very large amount of dust / large fleks of dirt behind the screen on my Model Name: MacBook Pro

Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1

Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz

looked on youtune but can only find videos showing how to clean behind sreen on imacs not the laptops

any advice would be brilliant

also my laptop no longer plays dvd's just spits them out even though it will still read audio cd's witch im finding rather odd :(

I open up a lot of computers and the nastiest dustiest ones come from the cleanest homes. Excessive vacuuming gets dust in the air. If the computer is running while this dust is suspended in the air it sucks it right in. Get some canned air and take the upper case off and take it outside and really blow it out. Remove the battery before doing so in case the liquified air hits the logic board. The optical drive is probably packed with dirt too. Or, you find a mate that doesn't clean house as much.
