Keyboard does not work nor the track pad.

The machine works perfectly, I have a magic mouse through the bluetooth and the mouse, the programs, internet and everything works normal. But my keyboard and track pad won't start! How can I know if the problem is the keyboard or is something else?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The cable from your keyboard to the motherboard has a socket on the motherboard. This may have popped out. I would removed the top case and secure this plug in. Here's how: MacBook Core 2 Duo Upper Case Replacement

Mayer thanks for your help. I found the instructions to remove the trackpad and I did removed it. A friend of mine has another macbook without the hard drive, and told me if I needed his track pad and keyboard I could take his computer to take his parts. The thing is I uninstalled both computers upper cases and installed my friends parts to my computer. At first the computer worked just perfect, but after a few minutes the track pad and new keyboard stopped working!!

I also found a microsoft usb keyboard and I attached it to the laptop and is the only solution that has kept working. I am starting to believe the problem is in the logic board. If anyone has the same problem please coment, I really need my computer at 100%, I am doing my thesis and I am going crazy!!! Thanks!
