Can you change an iPad 3 to an iPad 4?

Hello,

I have an iPad 3, it's a bit old so I was wondering if it was possible to swich the motherboard (and whatever else) to that of an iPad 4 and to have it work. Especially since now my iPad 3's Wi-Fi stopped working.

Also if that's not possible, I would like to know whether replacing the motherboard of an iPad 3 is a practical way of downgrading, assuming that these motherboards on eBay have iOS 5 on them. iOS 7 on iPad 3 is rubbish, with missing effects and poor performance, I'm afraid to think what iOS 8 is like.

No--charge port/charging logic is different

Plus, the cost of an iPad = cost of an iPad logic board--more or less

You can do this by changing the back case and the logic board. So just buy another ipad.
