Replacing camera and copper tape?

I ripped the cable for the copper tape when transferring to a new screen. Ordered front camera and proximity assembly, plus the new copper shield piece. Question is, how do I attach the copper shield cable to the new camera/proximity cable?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

In case anyone is interested, the small foil adhesive part goes directly on the back of the front facing camera. You have to lift it away from the ribbon carefully to expose the bare metal.

Don't worry about it. The copper tape is there for EMI shielding, and you probably won't notice a practical difference without it.

In the future, keep the tape attached to the shield and transfer it as one piece.
