Dim Back light Issue

I'm repairing a iPad Mini Digitizer and when I turned off the iPad, the LCD was fine and when I went to turn the iPad back on for testing the Digitizer, the LCD was dimmer than the dark side of the moon. I can barely make out the turn off swipe and the real only noticeable thing is the Apple Logo when its booting up.

Did I blow fuse? If so, how could I have done that and still have some kind of picture show up

This is backlight for sure. iPad mini is just *very* sensitive. The image generation circuit is separate from the backlight. Under some other external bright light, you can still the image being generated even if backlight circuit isn't working.

ipad mini backlight fuses are cheap on eBay--just pick one up there if you want to give it a try. (note: it is a whole lot easier to just send out for a quick fuse replacement if you don't have a good microscope and soldering equipment capable of working on that scale---the surrounding components are all critical.) If you do have the right stuff, have at it!

You may have accidentally disconnected a cable or ripped a cable. Check the connections. If that doesn't help, replace the LCD.
