battery replacement caused screen to flicker

I followed the guide step by step and when I assembled it all back the screen now flickers at the bottom edges. Is this the screen of a ribbon issue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

yes.

disconnect battery and reseat LCD connector and be sure ribbon cable is not bent.

Reconnect battery.

Turn off auto-brightness.

Hard reset

If this still doesn't solve, it is damaged LCD connector.

Hello.

Yesterday I was in an independent repair shop and my iPhone 5S screen was flickering heavily after battery replacement, but the shopkeeper said that it will disappear after cca. 10-15 minutes so I waited in the shop and the issue resolved itself while I’m tested the phone functions with TestMHardware App from Apple AppStore and no more flickering happened after cca. 10-15 minutes.

The flickering was similar than an old 50 Hz CRT display, the content was on the screen all the time, but the refesh rate was extremely visible.

If the screen content disappearing and reappearing in your case rapidly it’s a completly different flickering.
