MacBokk Air A1304 Apple Logo spinning circle

My MacBook Air turns on but only to "Apple" Logo and spinning circle. I left it on one night and came back later and it was off. I turned it on and this is all that happens. No bar appears. I turned it off then back on holding down the Power button and "Option" key. It came up to my drive and I am able to log on to my Wi-Fi, I then click on my drive, and it's back to Logo and spinning wheel. Any suggestions will be greatly Appreciated. Thanks

Try a safe (shift) boot. Hold the shift key down at start until you see the spinning wheel… then release.

After booting repair permissions and verify your boot disk. Check that you have at least 20% of your boot volume empty for VMEM and swap files (that would be 12GB on a 64GB HD.

Perhaps a failing OS or some other hardware. It will be good if you can boot the Mac with the help of start disk and repair the permissions with the disk utility.
