Suddenly a fan noise

Hi dear people! unexpectedly an anoying noise has come in my iMac Intel 20" EMC 2266. It's at the right bottom (looking in front). Don't happen all the time but when it do it's weird. The question is: is this a failure or a normal thing of time? do I need to disassemble the computer to clean it? Please I'll really appreciate an answer to work (and sleep) with peace.

thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Download Fan Control and you can set the temperature to fan speed ratio there.

Does the fan normally come on when you're doing heavy processing of some sort? If so, its simply because you're working it more, thus creating more heat, and the fans move faster to dissipate the heat faster. You can also install iStat Pro or Nano to see your fan speeds. These are mine at the moment: http://grab.by/43sH (I have a 27" iMac with i7) Ignore the HD temp, its not working.
