upgrade logic board with early 2009

Hi,

I have a macbook 13 core 2 duo mid 2007 and i would to upgrade the logic board if it's possible. can I upgrade with a macbook 13 early 2009?

I have this macbook mid 2007 with logic board to replace because it come in touch with a liquid. And I had thinking to instal another newest logic board so i can instal mountain lion.

I know that the processor is different, but if i replace the all logic board what problem i can have?

Unfortunately, they have different chipsets and processor speeds.

Do you need to replace the logic board? If so, you first need to find out whether you have an energy-star or non energy-star Macbook. It sounds like a small difference, but the logic boards have different form factors.

Were you just looking for an increase in performance? If so, there are easier and cheaper ways to improve your computer's performance.

Basically, it is possible, but if your model is the white one, it would be easier to look for a used Macbook on eBay with a broken screen and just swap your working screen over to the working body.
