front indicator light does not come on after opening up mini

This if for a mac mini mid 2011 i7. I wanted to find out how hard it would be to replace the hard drive on a mac mini without actually replacing the drive. I used the instructions found on fixit. I stopped short of removing the logic board. I then put everything back together and everything works fine, EXCEPT the front led light no longer lights. So, what is the light connected to? Could this be something as simple as a connector or might I have done damage to something major?

Options

Yes - you could have damaged your device, or missed a connection. First try an SMC reset - then recheck your reassembly.

thanks, I'll give it a try in the morning. Any idea what the light is connected to? If I decide one day to be a little more ambitious I might break the whole thing down.
