Replace the motherboard and paired optical drive in your PlayStation 5 console.

Fix issues like a corroded, damaged, or malfunctioning motherboard, or an optical drive that won't read discs.

We'll give you a $25 credit if you return your old gaming console motherboard to us. After you get your order, send the old motherboard back to us using the prepaid label provided, and include your order number. Once we get it back and verify its condition, we will send you a credit of $25. The optical drive and motherboard must be replaced together. An optical drive that is not paired with the motherboard will not recognize game disks. Heat sinks are not included. It is essential to apply a new layer of thermal paste before reinstalling the heat sinks. A software update may need to be reinstalled after replacing the motherboard in your PS5. The software update can be downloaded for free online from Sony.
