GameSir X5 Lite Buttons Unresponsive
When you press any of the four buttons on your control, there is no feedback within the game or app.
Sticky/Dirty Buttons
Over time, debris such as dust, crumbs, or oils from your hands can build up around the buttons, causing them to stick or fail to register inputs. Disconnect your device from the controller before cleaning. Gently wipe the surface of the controller using a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Then, use compressed air to blow away any dust or debris around the buttons. Allow the controller to fully dry before reconnecting your device.
Turbo Mode On
If Turbo Mode is enabled, your buttons may not respond normally. To toggle Turbo Mode on or off, hold down the “M” button and press the face button you would like to adjust. To completely clear all Turbo Mode settings, press the “M” button and the “Home” button simultaneously. Test the buttons again after resetting Turbo Mode.
Poor Phone Connection
If your phone is not securely connected, button inputs may not register properly. Ensure your device is firmly connected to the USB-C connector on the controller. Remove and reconnect your device to confirm a stable connection.
If the issue continues, the USB-C cable or connector may need to be replaced.
Device Software Update Needed
Outdated software on your phone can affect controller responsiveness. Check your device settings to see if a software update is available. If an update is pending, install the latest version and restart your device before testing the controller again.
Controller Firmware Update Needed
Your controller’s firmware may also require an update. Open the GameSir app and check for any available firmware updates for your GameSir X5 Lite. If an update is available, follow the prompts to install it. Once completed, reconnect the controller and test the buttons.
