ASUS Chromebook Flip C214MA Keyboard Unresponsive
If your Asus Chromebook Flip C214MA keyboard is not responding, find help here. For these issues users are experiencing problems with the keyboard not working properly and not registering certain keystrokes.
1. Debris around certain keys
I would recommend using a can of air first to clean dust or crumbs. If that doesn't work, use LCD screen cleaner, spray the key and let it soak for a couple minutes then use a can on compressed air to get excess screen cleaner out from under the key.
2. Chromebook hardware malfunction
The internal hardware of your Chromebook may be malfunctioning. Try resetting your Chromebook by following these steps:
Turn off Chromebook
Press and hold Refresh key + tap Power key
When Chromebook starts up, release Refresh
3. Damaged key
If you are still experiencing problems after cleaning your keyboard and resetting, the problem might be a damaged key. You may have to replace the key with a new one. Linked below is a step by step process on how Asus recommends a self repair process with their Chromebooks.
