If your HyperX CloudX Flight headphones won't pair to your console, follow this troubleshooting guide.

Causes

1

If the device is not charged, it will not turn on to commence pairing with your console.

  • Using the cable that came with your headset, connect it into device and let it charge for a few minutes. The LEDs will remain a solid color, indicating they are charging.
  • After it has charged, disconnect the headphones and turn them on.
  • Plug the dongle into your console and pair your headphones. Once the LED on the dongle remains solid, the headphones are paired.

If the device is charged and on, but won't connect, it is possible the dongle is not connected.

  • The small USB device with an LED is the headset’s dongle. Once you have found it, connect it to any USB port on your console.
  • The LED on the dongle will begin flashing once it is connected to the console and ready to pair.
  • Turn on the headset. The LED on the dongle should remain solid once the device is paired.
3

The headset comes paired with the dongle it is packaged with. In some occasions, the headset will unpair from the dongle and need to be reset.

  • Turn your headset off and plug the dongle into the console.
  • Use a small pin to press the button in the small hole on the side of the dongle for 3 seconds. The LED should blink.
  • Press and hold the headset power button for 10 seconds. The LEDs on the headset should begin to blink.
  • After both LEDs remain solid, the device is paired.
