Causes

1

Your Google Home does not stay connected when it is placed right next to the source of Wifi. Move it away from router and modem to keep the connection.

If it still does not stay connected to the wifi, restart router and modem.

2

The source of the wi-fi network may be the issue. Check to see if other devices are connected and successfully using the wi-fi; if not, you may need to restart router and modem.

3

Try restarting your device. Open the Google Home app and select the device you are trying to reboot. Go to Settings (three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the device card) and tap More and then Reboot.

or

Unplug the device for roughly a minute, and then it plug back into the power source. Allow the device to reboot itself.
