Bosch Dishwasher E15 Code

Disconnect power to the dishwasher for five minutes, then restore power.

Because E15 is triggered by water in the dishwasher base, inspect under and around the dishwasher to find the source of the leak.

Disconnect the dishwasher from power before removing any panels. Remove the outer dishwasher door panel and kick plate with the appropriate Torx or Phillips screwdriver.

The safety switch is near the center of the dishwasher base. As water collects in the base, a foam float rises and activates the switch.

• Twist and lift the safety switch to release it.
• Remove the foam float.
• Absorb the standing water, then dry the float and base.
• Remove any debris or wiring that obstructs the float.
• Reassemble the dishwasher only after the base and electrical connections are dry. Restore power and check whether the code returns.

Resetting the safety switch does not repair the leak that triggered it. Use Dishwasher Leaking to find and correct the source of the water before reassembly. This helps prevent damage to the dishwasher or surrounding cabinets and flooring.
