MacBook Pro 15" Retina Battery replacement

My Problem

Had over 1000 cycles and needed replacement

My Fix

Very smoothly. Did not use the Adhesive Remover for removal but did use for glue clean up. Lighter fluid worked better to dissolve and clean up the remaining glue residue.

My Advice

Use You Tube to see the string method for battery removal. Take your time. Get a friend to hold the MacBook Pro while you use the string.
