Laptop is like new again!

My Problem

My late 2008 unibody MacBook pro was running painfully slow. I opted to replace the hard drive with a 1TB ssd.

My Fix

The repair went fairly smoothly. Results are fantastic.

My Advice

Make sure to load the OS onto the new drive using a time machine backup and disk utility. You use the usb adapter supplied with the ssd in order to connect it to the computer.

I purchased the tool kit as well. It's not really needed and the supplied screw driver tips are not quite small enough but I will be using the tool kit for other projects.
