My Problem
Had the phone apart to fix other items (microphone, ear speaker, power button harness). After reassembling, the digitizer would not work. You guys know this story. Pinched and slightly tore the digitizer ribbon cable (crap!).
My Fix
After ordering the ifixit replacement screen, and paying attention to the guide, all is well in "Old iPhone 4s" land once again
My Advice
Really pay attention to the display and digitizer ribbon cable routing, when reassembling. Everything else is pretty basic (if you like working with a magnifying glass, lol)
