My Problem

The battery in my iPhone 5 kept dying. I didn't really want or need a new phone. We purchased a new battery & the tool repair kit. Saved me $700 for a new iPhone 6, versus the $60 to replace the battery in my old phone.

My Fix

It took my husband about 30 minutes to remove the old battery & replace it with the new!! No data was lost in the process! All the items in the repair kit were well worth the price of less than $30!!! No problems at all following the step by step instructions given on the website!! Thank you IFIXIT!!!

My Advice

Only way to go, unless you really want a new phone. We thought the instructions were very clear. Definitely the best way to go, by ordering all the repair tools in a kit. It was nice to have the Antic-static tray also to keep the tiny screws separate. We highly recommend this product!!

P.S. Make sure when it says don't pull too hard, make sure & follow the advice!! Break a part & you will need a new phone!!
