My Problem

I have the iPhone 5 and they are notorious for have bad batteries. My battery was replaced with the Apple iPhone 5 warranty recall and only lasted a couple months before it went dead again. I had to keep the phone plugged in at ALL times just to use it.

My Fix

I've tried the cheap $10 batteries from EBay and other sites and none of them wouldn't even turn the phone on, all junk! You get what you pay for. The iFixit battery was perfect, it even came with 40% charge already on it. The repair was extremely easy. It took me about 10 minutes to do and the phone was and is back to being the mobile device it once was.

My Advice

Just take your time with the install. When you lift the screen of the body, make sure to do it slowly so you don't damage the ribbon cable to the screen as it is on the top side of the phone. I didn't take off the screen when I did my repair but it is recommended that you do (which takes a couple extra steps).
