My Problem

Shattered screen when dropped one to many times.

My Fix

The repair went well, but I had to re-seat the LCD cable, touch sensor cable and front-facing camera cable three times before everything worked correctly.

My Advice

Power-up the phone before sealing the case and make sure everything is working.

My Problem

Got transmission fluid in my old screen (I’m a mechanic). Of course Apple wouldn’t help because “liquid damage” even though none of it hit the phone.

Straightforward as any screen replacement.
